Berrara Lagoon paddle and picnic day

Saturday 3rd May paddle was transferred to Berrara Lagoon where fifteen paddlers and eight non-paddlers met at Lakeland Reserve where President Brenton had trailered the ten seater. A crew of eleven set off at 10.30am to paddle to the upper reaches of Berrara Creek and back, a distance of around 5kms. A second crew of seven repeated the journey at 11.30am, enjoying the unspoiled scenery and solitude this waterway offers. Back at Lakeland Reserve, we fired up the BBQ, opened up the hampers and enjoyed a very pleasant picnic, all agreeing to another Berrara Creek paddle when the weather warms up.
